a poem for you

i know i am not perfect, but i will try to make it right
though i am losing the will to fight, but i will give in all my might
looking out the window in lonely night, i could't find a single source of light
representing my strength, decreasing with my breathe

being to close i am afraid to fall deep in
but an unknown attraction from you trapped me in
i tried to struggle but i am done for it
watching you from far is the only thing i can do
seeing you cry because of him but there is nothing i can do

i know it hurts, but ain't i too feel hurt
passerby days i am counting day by day
hoping the true smile of you will show one day
for everything i said i meant it all
giving you my all is what i asked for

the seasons of love, where my love gave birth
the tears of joy, comprises of you in my life
i give in all, i give my all
i give in my everything yet you said goodbye and that's all
